Agriculture
The wheels are always turning at the Agriculture Farm. The plow has been fitted with new points, and the paddocks are being readied for the upcoming summer crops.
Northern Schools Steers Competition
On 26 & 27 November students travelled to Walcha to participate in the Northern Schools Steer Competition. Our Paraders results were

THS successfully advanced to the finals of the shootout competition, showcasing a steer presented by Jennifer Smith and supervised by Hollie Thomas. In this one-on-one format, each school is permitted to present a single steer. Ultimately, THS achieved an impressive second place overall. Additionally, we secured fourth place in the heavyweight class with a steer bred by Brett Lawrence and presented by Brock Brown. Another fourth-place finish in the heavyweight class featured a steer bred by Jennifer Smith and presented by Hollie Thomas. These results conclude the competition for THS. Congratulations to all participants!
Chemistry
Ms Parker's Year 11 Chemistry class undertaking dilutions and exploring colorimetry using Vernier Bluetooth analysis tools.
Metalwork
Mr. Sproule's Year 9/10 Metalwork students are nearing the completion of their projects. Here, we see Toby showcasing his impressive fire pit creation. Excellent work!
Wellbeing
Congratulations to our students who received their Silver Awards at assembly on 25 November.
Last week, Year 9 students successfully completed a Peer Support Program in collaboration with the wellbeing faculty. Students have the opportunity to nominate themselves as peer leaders for the upcoming year, where they will guide small groups of Year 7 students. This peer support initiative empowers participants, fosters positive relationships, enhances social and emotional skills, and contributes to a healthy school culture.
Food Technology
Mrs Cooper's Year 8 technology students have successfully prepared bolognese potatoes during their practical lesson.
Woodwork
