Deputy Principals Report

Mr Brian Edmonds

As we reach the final week of school, I want to extend my thanks to our entire school and community. This year has been rich with opportunities for our students, and it has been a privilege to share these experiences with our dedicated staff and families. The ongoing support, encouragement, and involvement from our community have contributed to making 2025 a truly memorable and successful year for our school.

Our Presentation Day was a wonderful celebration of the numerous achievements accomplished throughout the year. It was heartening to see students recognised for their hard work across various so many areas. Our drama students delivered an outstanding performance, a testament to the dedication of Mr Kelly and his team, while our music presentations showcased the remarkable talent and growth of our students, supported by the tireless efforts of Mr Ryan. These performances truly highlighted the creativity and spirit within our school community.

We also took the time to celebrate academic, sporting, and enrichment achievements, acknowledging successes across all subjects and athletic endeavors. These accomplishments reflect the commitment of both students and staff, and we extend our congratulations to all award recipients. Our sincere gratitude goes to our award sponsors, whose generosity allows us to recognise student achievements meaningfully.

This week students will engage in a variety of Term 5 activities aimed at fostering teamwork, well-being, and connection within the school. I want to acknowledge the exceptional dedication of our staff, who invest considerable time to plan and execute these programs. As we near the Christmas break, I would like to take a moment to recognise our students, staff, and families for their contributions throughout the year. Thank you for your support and involvement in making 2025 a remarkable and successful year.

School will resume for all students on Monday 2 February 2026, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed, energised, and ready for another year of learning, growth, and opportunity. Wishing everyone a happy, safe, and restful holiday season, and I look forward to seeing our students return in the new year.
