The OLF Swimming Carnival was a splash-tacular day for our Year 2 – 5 students! From the first race to the final cheer, the energy around the pool was incredible.

Students gave their all in the water, smashing races with determination and showing brilliant sportsmanship both in and out of the pool. The atmosphere was filled with encouragement, laughter, and house pride.

A huge THANK YOU goes to our wonderful parent helpers who made the day run smoothly. Your support is always appreciated! And a huge THANK YOU to all our wonderful staff that worked together to create such a successful event!

Well done to every competitor who swam their best and to all the students who cheered from the sideline you made the carnival unforgettable.

NSW State Aquathon championships

OLF was proudly represented at the Catholic Schools NSW State Aquathon Championships in Maroubra, where Year 3 student Rieko M competed against a strong field of 50 athletes in the 8/9 age group.

Despite the scorching 37 degree heat, Rieko showed determination and resilience throughout the competition. After qualifying 11th for the final, he gave his absolute best performance, demonstrating both skill and sportsmanship.

The event brought together students from across the state, making Rieko’s achievement a remarkable milestone for both himself and the OLF community. His effort and perseverance in such challenging conditions highlight the values of commitment and pride that OLF encourages in all its students.
