Week 4
Week 4 Newsletter – OSHClub
Week 4 was packed with exciting activities, delicious food, and plenty of fun as the children continued staying active, creative, and engaged throughout the week!
Our Breakfast Club menu kept everyone warm and energised with yoghurt cones, waffles with berries, cheese & spinach quesadillas, crispy hashbrowns, and comforting honey porridge oats. It was wonderful seeing the children enjoy a variety of nutritious and tasty breakfast options each morning. For our afternoon Snack Squads, children enjoyed a fantastic range of meals including pho noodle soup, popcorn, pizza scrolls, pasta shells, and to finish off the week, a special charcuterie board filled with lots of yummy treats to share together.
This week’s Brain Boosters were a huge success! Children loved creating colourful fruit skewers, watching the exciting Coke and Mentos experiment erupt, and exploring the sensory fun of GIANT water beads, which was definitely one of the biggest highlights of the week.
Our creative activities encouraged imagination and hands-on fun, with children enjoying clay creations, Chinese origami wheels, 3D painting, and designing their own personalised door hangers. Another big favourite this week was discovering our new game Tap Words, which quickly became a popular group activity full of laughter and friendly competition. Children also stayed active with a variety of energetic physical activities throughout the week. Basketball shooting, cricket, Gaga Ball, parachute games, air hockey, and plenty of high-energy group games kept everyone moving, engaged, and having fun together.
Overall, Week 4 was full of creativity, teamwork, movement, and memorable moments. We can’t wait to see what fun next week brings!

Pupil Free Day
There is a Pupil Free Day on Friday 05 June 2026.
MOUNT PLEASANT ROAD VIC OSHCLUB will be open from 7.00am to 6.00pm for any families who want to book in.
To book, log in to your Parent Portal and select the Pupil Free Day Room.
Please Bring:
- Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
- Appropriate footwear and clothing (including a hat) for your child
Important to Note:
- The session fee is $72.94 (before any applicable Child Care Subsidy).
- Bookings can not be made online within 48 hours of the session commencing.
- All regular Before and After School Care bookings have been removed for this date.
- To avoid out-of-pocket costs, cancellation of a Pupil Free Day booking must be made at least 7 days before the session start time.
- A $4.17 late booking fee applies for bookings made within 5 days of the session commencing.

Enrolling Your Child
For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/
A helpful video for navigating the iParent Portal and completing the enrolment process can be found on this page.
Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.
Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
