Education Support Day – Thank You, ES Team! 💖
On Education Support Day, we would like to sincerely thank our wonderful Education Support team for the care, dedication, and encouragement they provide to our students every day. Their patience, kindness, and hard work make a positive difference in all of the classrooms across our school, helping every child feel supported, valued, and confident to learn. We are truly grateful for the important role they play in our school community.
If you get a chance this week, please take a moment to stop by, say thank you, or write a quick note to any of our ES staff. They work tirelessly to support both students and staff so that every day at school is a positive one.
Working Bee – Thank-you! 💐🙏
On Saturday, 2 May, we held a highly successful Working Bee, with volunteers helping to improve our gardens and organise spaces throughout the school buildings. We are incredibly grateful to the many parents and students who generously gave their time and effort to support our school. Once again, this demonstrates the kindness, dedication, and strong community spirit that make Marlborough such a special place. Your ongoing support and willingness to contribute are deeply appreciated and continue to strengthen our school community. Special shout out to Tanya for setting it up and making it all happen!

Building Works
The Victorian Government is investing record funding in our schools to make Victoria the Education State and give every student access a great local school and education.
Our school has been allocated $500,000 in the 2026 State Budget to prepare a master plan for future building upgrades. We will work closely with our School Council and the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) to deliver an outcome that will benefit the entire community.
To prepare for the upgrade, we will complete an Asset Management Plan (AMP) over the next 11 weeks. The AMP is a long-term document that helps to plan for a school’s future. The plan identifies, organises and prioritises the building works required at a school – ensuring students have access to educational facilities that prepare them to thrive in the 21st century. This will help ensure our building plans support our educational direction and long-term vision for the school. We will be sharing updates on this and will be running some sessions to gather input from our teachers and staff, as well as parents/carers. We will also involve our students to listen to their unique and very important perspective.
This is a very exciting time for our school and we will keep you informed with updates as the project progresses.
Supervision Before and After School
Just a quick reminder that our school is supervised from 8:45am – 3:45pm, therefore students should not be arriving before 8:45am and need to be picked up from school at 3:30pm. Any student arriving or departing outside of these times are able to attend before and after school care. For enquiries, please speak contact the office.
Muffins for Mums and Special Guardians/Friends
A big thank you to all the mums, grandmothers, and special guests who joined us for our ‘Muffins for Mums’ morning last Friday. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and to share such a special time together in celebration of Mother’s Day. We truly appreciate you taking the time to be part of our school community and hope you enjoyed the morning. We hope all of the mums, guardians and special friends had a wonderful Mother’s Day! A special thanks to Christina and Jane for organising the morning.
We are also grateful for all of the efforts of our amazing PFA members who prepared a fabulous Mother's Day stall for our students to choose their special gift for mum! Thank you! 💐

Education Week Reminder
Just a reminder that next Tuesday, 19 May, we warmly welcome you into your child’s classroom from 2:45pm to showcase our science learning. This will be a wonderful opportunity to join in the fun of science with your child, explore the engaging learning taking place in our classrooms, and see our curious learners in action. We hope you can join us to celebrate and experience Science at our school.
