As we enter the final term of the year, it’s natural to feel a mix of excitement and anxiety.

Whether you’ve already secured employment, applied to university, or are still exploring your options, remember that you’re not alone.

I’m here to support you through this critical time. If you need guidance with job applications, university choices, or any other career-related matters, please reach out to me as soon as possible. I’m more than happy to help you navigate this transition and ensure you’re ready for what comes next.

Additionally, take advantage of 'Tuesday Talks,' held every Tuesday morning during Coaching. Simply sign in and head over to the staff lunchroom for an informal drop-in session where I’ll be available to address any questions or concerns you might have. There’s no specific theme for these sessions for the remainder of the term—just come by and get the support you need.

In many cases there are limits on the number of students who can participate. When this is the case, it is made very clear how spots will be allocated. For example it may be preference is given to

First in first served
A certain year group
Students who have had a meeting with me and discussed what their plans are post school
Students who have not participated in certain activities previously

Every Wednesday morning I will be in the Staff Lunchroom during Coaching to answer any questions about Work Experience. It is also a good time for you to come and hand in any Work Experience paperwork. Go to Homegroup, get marked off, and then head over.

Your Classroom is where I will share any upcoming events or courses that you may be interested in. Often these events have limited spaces available and require an EOI so it is important that you make sure you are reading notifications.

UPDATE on parent access. Google has recently informed us that parents should now be able to see posts, not just assignments. If you would like to join the Careers Classroom of your child, please email kcc-careers@ww.catholic.edu.au and state your child's name and year group and that you would like to join the Careers Classroom. If this is your first meeting with me you need to fill out this form. If you have ever filled out the form you do not need to do it again.
If the meeting is between 5:00pm - 7:00pm it will be a Zoom and you will be sent a link once you have made your booking
Parents are welcome to attend meetings, but please indicate this when making the booking. If parents would like to be involved in the meeting but can not come in person, we can arrange to Zoom you while I am meeting with the student.
