PFA Community Dinner

We were thrilled to start the PFA calendar with the PFA Community Dinner on 1 March. Each year, we look forward to this night as it is a wonderful opportunity to meet new families and make connections. Even though the turnout was low compared to previous years, we still thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company while enjoying the array of delicious dishes.

Children enjoyed facepainting, balloon twisting and a Lego table, which were on offer. The craft table had various activities based on this year's theme, 'Transformed' (Romans 12:2).

For the second year in a row, Bunnings Oakleigh blessed us with a wonderful household item which was used for the free raffle. It was a joy to bless a special family in our Christway community.

The PFA used this night to promote all the PFA events and involvements for the year by giving small handouts. To entertain us, a few kids creatively did a small Mother’s Day stall skit.

We ended the night with a friendly paper plane competition, where we all had a good laugh with the range of skills on display. All the young ones were given small tokens of love for their participation in various activities.

PFA is open to all parents and guardians and if you’d like to join the PFA mailing list, please email me at ssitther@yahoo.com. One of the main achievements of the night was when five new members joined the PFA.

I truly take a lot of delight in doing my part in serving our blessed community. I’d like to extend my gratitude for all your prayers and support.

I look forward to working with you in upcoming PFA events.

Yours in Christ
