School Nurse Seminar
Followed by last week's greeting from the College Wellbeing Team to our international students, this Monday afternoon , our school nurse Ms Brooke Jones delivered a seminar on the topic of Consent. Through this session, all our students were provided with the information on relevant legal, emergency and health services. In particular , the information of "Age consent -Victoria", which is new to most of our international students. We thank Ms Jones for the support to our Comprehensive Orientation program.

ISP Mornington Peninsula Excursion
On Tuesday, 3rd of March, all our ISP (International Student Program) students participated in the excursion to the Mornington Peninsula. This excursion has provided our students with the opportunity to visit local attractions, build relationships, and become better acquainted with one another. We were so lucky as the weather was perfect!
Students went to the Arthur Seat Eagle and took the gondola to the summit, where they went on a short walk around the area.

The lunch was at Dromana seashore.

Their last stop was Cape Schanck. Students were fascinated by the beautiful views and natural landscape.

Below is some feedback from the students in ILC (Intensive Language Centre):
Michelle: The view was beautiful, but the climb was hard. Then we took a one-hour bus back to school. I love nature. I enjoy spending time with my friends. I love the sunshine and fresh air. I learned that even when things are hard, like the climb at Cape Schanck, the beautiful view at the end makes it all worth it. I felt tired but really happy!
Leo: We walked along the boardwalk and saw cliffs, ocean, rockpools, and waves. It was really beautiful. I really enjoyed the day. I loved the views and the wild coast at Cape Schanck.
Christine: There are many black rocks. It is very special. I made many friends from other schools. My English is not very good, but we had a great time. We remembered each other's names. I really like this day.
Dat: We saw cliffs, ocean and rockpools. I felt it was very fun but it’s sunny. I learned I need to bring a hat and I felt happy.
Kaylee: I don’t enjoy the sunlight because it's too sunny. I learnt to put down your phone and take a good look at the scenery. I felt happy, tired, exciting and the world is fantastic.
Mona: I had never seen such scenery before. During this activity, I saw many beautiful scenes. I found that learning is not just studying in school; it also happens when we go out and enjoy nature. Nature can teach us many important things that we never learn in school. What a meaningful experience!
