Western United

Our Year 10 All Sports and Personal Health classes, were lucky to have Western United Football Clubs men's team players come out and meet with us this past Wednesday. With the launch of the Wyndham Vale Regional Football Stadium also on Leakes Road, Tarneit, Western United has been on a tour of local schools and sports organisations to raise awareness of their in school programs. 

The students were very happy to receive signed autograph cards from players Jacob Tratt, Kane Vidmar, and International visa player Tomoki Imai, and then participated in a soccer ‘crossbar challenge’ to win a free Western United season 2024/2025 club membership. Deborah, Girum, Peli, Abdisalam, and Zekios were the only students to the hit crossbar which was an excellent effort from them all. 

Students can watch more Western United Football at their stadium during the upcoming 2024/2025 season which begins later this year”.
