Farewell Nic Yelash:

Nic Yelash has done it all during her time here. She has been a mum to three boys who have gone right through our school and on to great things each.

She has worked as a one-to-one teacher with some of our most diverse children. She has served on our Board of trustees for close to 12 years and as Board Chair - Presiding Member - for 10 years.

Nic is head of HR for a large Australasian company. She is the epitome of the wise and wonderful woman who always knows what's needed and how to best make it happen.

Nic is a phenom - one of those rare, generational people, who change everything they are involved in for the better, and who find solutions for the most intractable problems that would - and do - defeat most of us.

She is calm, considered and capable. Caring and empathetic, but also always understands when a nudge along is needed.

I would sum it up for me by saying she took my shortcomings and helped me turn them into strengths. That is a heck of a testament in just that sentence.

On Friday we farewelled Nic, in the style of 'Hamilton, the Musical' as that is one of her great passions.

Huge thanks to our staff for putting together a stunning farewell. Big congratulations to our children as their manners and engagement last thing on a Friday afternoon were just outstanding.
