The Season of Creation (1st September - 4th October)

Today in class we discussed the importance and meaning of the Season of Creation for the global Church. It reminds us to be grateful for all the natural world provides and inspires. It calls us to care and to share wisely all God has given us.

We took our learning outside where students were asked to collect 3 natural items (no plastic!) and in small groups they combined the items to form a symbol of their making which reflected their feelings and understanding of the Season of Creation. After that, they chose a tree to sketch.

Back in the classroom they were asked whether they enjoyed learning outside, and yes they did!
