This term has been a particularly busy and important one on campus, with students working hard to complete their outcomes and VCE students beginning their mid-year exams. It's been fantastic to see the focus and determination across all year levels as they engage with the demands of their studies.

As we move further into the year, it’s important that students continue to stay organised, maintain consistent study habits, and reach out for support when needed. Whether it’s preparing for upcoming assessments or reflecting on recent results, every step is a valuable part of their learning journey.

A reminder that students will also be sitting the GAT next Tuesday, and we encourage everyone to come prepared and ready to do their best.

Thank you to all the staff and families supporting our students during this busy time — your encouragement makes a huge difference. We’re proud of the effort being shown and look forward to seeing continued growth and achievement in the weeks ahead.

General Achievement Test (GAT)

On Tuesday the 17th of June, all VCE and VCE VM students undertaking Unit 3 and Unit 4 subjects will sit the GAT. Administered by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), the GAT is a compulsory check of writing, literacy and numeracy skills, and plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and assessment of end-of-year examinations. For more details please refer to Campus News.

Yakult Factory

On Friday 9th May, Year 12 Business Management students attended an excursion to the Yakult factory in Dandenong for a tour.

Students were able to see first-hand how the operations strategies they have been studying in Unit 3 are applied in a real business. This included an automated production such as artificial intelligence and computer assisted manufacturing.

Students were also able to learn about various quality control strategies, procurement of inputs and how business implements corporate social responsibility considerations. The factory tour ended with a tasting of Yakult (with mixed responses)!
