What is WOW?

WOW encourages students to walk, ride, scoot or skate to school on Wednesdays starting Wednesday 6th May through to the end of Term 2.

Each class will track their progress on a WOW wall calendar, competing for the prestigious Golden Boot Award for the winning class!

Why WOW?

We’re supporting WOW to help build healthy habits and ease traffic around the school. Choosing active travel is a simple way for students to improve their wellbeing and help create a safer school environment.

We’d love to see as many students as possible give it a go, even once a week makes a difference.

Bike Education

The Grade 5/6 students recently participated in a Bike Education program run by the Bicycle Network. It was a lot of fun, with students showing off their biking skills while also learning important road safety rules and techniques. Students in grade 3/4 will have the opportunity to take part in their Bike Education sessions later in the year!

Cross Country

Yesterday, students from Grades 3–6 participated in the District Cross Country, showcasing their endurance and resilience. They all ran incredibly well and represented Richmond West proudly. We had lots of success, with many runners qualifying for the Division event on the 3rd of June. Well done to all involved!
