Prep News!

This term is already shaping up to be an exciting one!

In Week 2, the Preps blew us away with their incredible efforts in the Walkathon. They were so committed to walking (and occasionally running!) as many laps as they could to help Richmond West raise money for new school technology.

This week, we were also fortunate to enjoy a wonderful performance by the ANAM Academy. It was exciting to hear the different sounds each instrument made and to learn how they work together to create beautiful melodies.

Dallis, Kim and Victoria have all been so impressed with how focused and enthusiastic the Preps are about their learning. In Maths, they have been exploring time and sorting data. Last week, we sorted packets of Smarties and created graphs to represent the different colours. We also enjoyed eating our Smarties afterwards!

In Chinese and English, the Preps have worked incredibly hard to read and write simple words and phrases. We are so excited to see how much they continue to grow this term as we explore narrative writing.
