Years 1 & 2

Over the past two weeks in Chinese, students have been learning about telling the time. They created their own clocks and used them to practise saying the time in Chinese, helping to make their learning more hands-on and engaging.
Students continue to enjoy their Chinese learning and are developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through a range of interactive activities, including oral practice, vocabulary building, and handwriting tasks.
They also watched a performance by the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM). Students responded to questions about musical instruments and made thoughtful connections between the professional performance and their own school band experiences.
It has been wonderful to see their growing confidence and enthusiasm in learning Chinese.
