This was a very special milestone in their faith journey as they received the Eucharist for the first time. We thank the teachers for their support in preparing the students for this important Sacrament and for the care and guidance they provided throughout their preparation.

Pentecost

Pentecost Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday, 24 May 2026.

Pentecost is an important celebration in the Christian calendar and takes place 50 days after Easter. On this day, Christians remember the coming of the Holy Spirit to the disciples of Jesus. The Bible tells us that while the disciples were gathered together, they were filled with the Holy Spirit, which gave them courage, strength and the ability to share the message of Jesus with others.

For this reason, Pentecost is often called the “birthday of the Church.” It reminds us that God’s Spirit continues to guide and inspire people to live with kindness, courage and love each day. Throughout next week, all students will be learning about Pentecost and its significance in the life of the Church.
