The School Leadership team, and the School Council would like to invite GEC parents and carers to express your interest in being part of the Parents Association at Glen Eira College.

In prior years the Glen Eira College Parents Association has been active, and we are looking to build up the Parents Association again.

The Parents Association has a valued role in the school. Activities of a Parents Association are often social, providing opportunity for parents and carers to connect and share, while supporting life of the school. They may also involve helping make the school look and feel great, like working bees, or may be fundraising related.  Even a small number of activities can make a positive difference.

The Constitution that is in place for the Glen Eira College Parents Association is based on the Model template stipulated by the Department of Education.  You are welcome to read the current Constitution here to gain an understanding of the operations of a Parents’ Association.
