Year 11 Ski Camp

From August 13 to 15, forty-eight Year 11 students participated in the much-anticipated three-day Ski Camp at Mt Buller. The camp provided a wonderful opportunity for students to experience the snow, develop their skiing and snowboarding skills, and strengthen connections with their peers outside the classroom environment.
Students took part in lessons led by professional instructors, which catered for both beginners experiencing the slopes for the first time and more advanced skiers and snowboarders looking to refine their techniques. Afternoons were spent putting new skills into practice on a variety of runs, while evenings offered time to relax, share stories, and reflect on the day’s adventures.
The camp was not only about physical activity but also about building resilience, teamwork, and independence. Students supported one another as they faced challenges on the mountain, and many were proud to push themselves beyond their comfort zones. By the end of the trip, the group returned with new skills, greater confidence, and plenty of unforgettable memories.
A big thank you goes to the staff who accompanied the students and made the camp possible. It was truly a rewarding and memorable experience for all involved.
