I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the Jakoya Nash who filled in as an Aboriginal Education Assistant while I was away. Students reported that they learned so much from Jakoya during her time at St Joseph's. 

Cultural Learning Plan (CLP)

The Armidale Catholic Schools office has rolled out new CLP diocesan wide. There will be more information to come so please watch this space. I will be completing the first part of the CLP with students in school time. 

Indigenous Literacy Day 

Indigenous Literacy Day was held last Wednesday, 3rd September and was proudly produced and presented by the Indigenous Literacy Foundation in collaboration with the Sydney Opera House. It is an annual celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ Stories, Cultures, and Languages.
