Parent Carer/Family/ Group

Hi all,

On Thursday, May 15th, we held our first Aitken Hill PS Parent/Carer/Family Group meeting. It was a great opportunity for members of our school community to come together and connect over light refreshments. At the meeting, we shared our own experiences of school and how these were similar to or different from our children’s experiences.

We hope to make these gatherings weekly, providing parents, carers, and family members with a space to discuss school-related issues. These get-togethers will also offer opportunities for the school to run sessions on education and parenting practices.

We hope to see you there! Language will not be a barrier, as staff members will be available to interpret if required.
