Dear Cassia Families,
We've had a lovely week in Cassia, enjoying the seasonal shift brought on by the cooler weather. On Cassia 1’s bushwalk on Monday, the children were delighted to notice that Mother Moon and Father Sun were both in the sky at the same time—what a magical moment!
We also had a sand delivery last week and have been hard at work moving it into the sandpit and under the swings. Not only is this a practical task that helps care for our Cassia Garden, but it’s also a rich learning experience for the children, who are immersed in the important job of moving many loads of sand in their wheelbarrows. This good work fosters a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and care for our Cassia Garden!
With the cooler mornings in mind, please support your child to come dressed in lots of layers they can peel off as the day warms up. We often joke that we’re all dressed like onions—layer upon layer! And please make sure all clothing is clearly labeled so we can return any stray items to you.
As always, feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to chat with Rose or Maz.
Lots of love,
Rose, Letetia, Sophie, and Maz
