Eat an apple
Keep the core
Plant some seeds
And grow some more

Autumn is well and truly upon us. The air is crisp, the mornings are cool, and the afternoons gift us warm sunshine. The children are thriving in this weather, relaxing into their play both indoors and out.

We’ve been enjoying the comfort of a consistent daily rhythm, while also finding opportunities to build on the children’s emerging interests. The mint growing in the garden has been a particular delight—its scent and freshness have inspired us to make our own mint tea to share at lunchtime.

A lively discussion about the best kind of jam for bread buns led us to make our own apple jam, using the delicious apples from our morning fruit basket. It was a joyful, hands-on experience where the children were able to taste and enjoy the outcome of their good work.

Warm Wishes,

Kelly
