Dear Parents & Carers,
As we prepare for our Autumn Fair this Saturday, I would like to thank all the parents, carers and students who have contributed so much time, energy, and creativity to organising this special event. The Fair is a highlight of our school year, and it simply would not be possible without the dedication of our wonderful community.
Over the past fortnight, there have been several important and exciting happenings within our school. Our Class 5 and 6 students took part in a valuable Cyber Safety session with Susan McLean, which provided crucial insights and guidance for navigating the online world safely and responsibly.
The Garden Stall has been thriving, many thanks to Class 6 students, Pam, teacher, and Kaz, garden organiser. We are especially grateful to Kaz and Logan Malek for their incredible work in building a new chook pen—just in time for the Fair. It is well worth a visit when you have time.
A big thank you also goes out to everyone who joined us for the recent Fair Working Bee. The amount of work done was truly inspiring, and the school grounds are looking fantastic as a result.
Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to Darwin, where I attended a networking event with Charles Darwin University teacher graduates. While there, I also had the pleasure of visiting Milkwood Steiner School. Milkwood has just moved across the road to a new site, and it is amazing to see the whole school picked up and shifted across the road. We look forward to collaborating in the future.
It is truly heartening to witness the strength of our community coming together to support an event like the Autumn Fair, I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.
Lastly, tune in to the interview below—at the 29-minute mark, Arwen from Class 4 shares her thoughts on our Autumn Fair and gives a glowing review of our amazing Maze!
