AUSTRALIAN GARDENS CRANBOURNE
Our students recently enjoyed a wonderful excursion to the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne, where they explored the diversity of Australian landscapes, plants, and animals.
Throughout the day, students learned about the connections between living things and how plants and animals rely on each other and their environment. A highlight of the excursion was testing water samples and discovering the tiny creatures living beneath the surface. Students enjoyed observing these organisms up close and learning about their role in the natural environment.
Students also explored the fascinating ways Australian plants and animals have adapted to survive in different conditions. The hands-on activities helped bring classroom learning to life and encouraged students to appreciate the unique beauty of Australia's natural environments.
We thank the staff at Cranbourne Gardens for providing such an enjoyable and memorable learning experience.
SCIENCE IN LIKE MINDS
Our Like Minds students have been exploring the fascinating world of forces by investigating how the size of a parachute canopy affects its landing time. Through hands-on experiments, they discovered how air resistance slows a falling object and influences its descent.
A great investigation full of curiosity, teamwork and scientific thinking!
