MUSIC LEADERS 2024

My name is Austin John McCallum. My favourite colour is orange and my favourite animal is a Giant Pacific Octopus. 

I love hot dogs, spaghetti, soft boiled eggs and ice cream: Rocky Road flavour. 

My favourite hobbies are reading, singing and acting. 

I am a McCallum on my father’s side and a Cook on my mother’s side. 

I chose to be a music leader because I love music and it felt right for me. 

My name is Olivia Howell from 6 Yellow and I am one of the music leaders for 2024. I just love all things music related. From playing music (the piano), to singing solos in choir and to dancing on stage, specifically ballet, jazz and contemporary. I feel honoured to be in this role. Some of my leadership qualities include being an understanding, empathetic and caring person. I like to support my peers and look after our younger students. The goals I have set for this year are to support Mrs Nackashian, inspire the choir and to help with other music events. I will work cooperatively with the other three music leaders and I pray I can be the responsible role model for everyone in our school. 

Hi, I’m Jillian Robe. I am one of the music leaders this year. My favourite hobbies are swimming, fishing and listening to music. I am hoping to learn and help others with their music. This will be my first leadership role so I am very excited to work with Mrs Nackashian and all the music students. I have 5 people in my family. My parents are currently running the canteen, my older brother Justin is in high school and my sister and I go to this school. I wanted to be a music leader because I feel that everyone has a bit of music inside them and as a music leader I can be responsible and respectful.

Hi, my name is Zoe Brown and I am one of your four Music Leaders for 2024. I am 11 turning 12, I am the youngest in my family with only one older sister. I enjoy sports, especially swimming and playing netball, music, catching up with friends and going on holidays.

I signed up to be a music leader because I am in love with music as I listen to music, play music, sing and much more. Last year I was in the school choir and was one of the soloists for the song Viva La Vida. It was fun and an enjoyable time performing and rehearsing. I have made so many friends on my music journey and I will make more. As a Music Leader I will be making good choices for the school and for the music classroom. I am resilient, respectful, will be a good role model and I will be one of the best Music Leaders for 2024!
