Spring is here – and so are the weeds!

With all the sunshine and rain, our plants are growing strong… but so are the weeds!

To better understand what’s popping up in our gardens, we set out to identify different types of weeds and learn their names. We quickly discovered that weeds aren’t just grasses – they come in many shapes and forms.

Using the iNaturalist app, we identified some of the most common weeds found around Montmorency. As part of our exploration, we also learned about plant classifications, including the difference between monocots and dicots.
