Jeans for Genes

• Junior School Council Jeans for Genes fundraiser : Wednesday 9 September

  Children can wear their jeans or denim shorts with their normal school tops - bring a gold coin donation!

   

  The Junior School Council have organised our fundraising day for Term 3. The charity we are supporting is Jeans for Genes, which is the fundraising campaign of Children's Medical Research Institute and helps find cures for children's genetic diseases. This day will be held Wednesday 9 September 2026. 

   

• Students can wear denim jeans, shorts or skirts instead of school pants, shorts or skirts. They must still wear their school top, so that the jeans are the highlight. Clothing must be school appropriate.

   

• Please bring a gold coin donation. You can still donate even if you don’t wear jeans. 

   

• Thank you for your support of this important charity. 

Book Swap

• Enviro Group - Book Swap : Wednesday 09 September

  1. Bring in a book Bring a good-quality book that you have finished reading to school before the Book Swap. 

  2. Receive a coupon For every book you bring in, you will receive ONE coupon from your enviro rep.1 BOOK = 1 COUPON 

  3. Swap your coupon for a new book! On Book Swap Day, bring your coupon along and choose ONE book to take home per coupon. 

  1 BOOK = 1 COUPON = 1 NEW BOOK 

  Example:📚 Bring 2 books → 🎟️ Receive 2 coupons → 📖 Choose 2 new books

   

  Remember! 

  ● Only bring books that are clean and in good condition. 

  ● Make sure the books are suitable for other students to read. 

  ● You can bring up to 3 books.
