Grade 6 Report

Science
Our Grade 6 students have been busy exploring the fascinating world of science! Throughout the term, students have been working on a science project based on a scientific concept of their own choosing. This has provided them with an opportunity to investigate an area of science that interests them while developing their research, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Students have been busy researching their chosen concepts and creating models and posters to help explain their learning. They have shown plenty of creativity and enthusiasm as they have worked to develop engaging ways to teach others about their scientific concept.
This week, students will have the opportunity to present their projects to their classmates, becoming the teachers as they share their knowledge and explain how their scientific concept works. It has been fantastic to see the variety of topics chosen and the different ways students have approached their projects.
The term will culminate in our Grade 6 Science Expo during the final week of term. Families and friends of our Grade 6 students are warmly invited to come along, explore the projects, and see the wonderful work the students have been developing throughout the term.
We are incredibly proud of the curiosity, creativity, and effort our Grade 6 students have demonstrated throughout this project, and look forward to sharing their scientific discoveries with their families!
