Grade 2 Report

This term in Literature the Grade 2 children are having read to them the book Polly and Buster by Sally Rippin.
It is a magical story about friendship, courage and accepting others for who they are. Polly is a young witch who struggles with magic, while Buster is a feelings monster who changes size depending on how he feels. They are best friends even though witches and monsters are not supposed to be friends. The story teaches readers the importance of being kind, accepting differences, standing up for what is right, and being a loyal friend.
