Father's Day Celebrations

We were so lucky to have so many Dads, Grandads, Uncles, Special Friends and other visitors join us for our Father's Day Celebration 2 weeks ago.

A very big thank you to 'Chefs Choice Meats' in Brunswick who kindly donated the 3 meat tray prizes for the Treasure Hunt winners. By all accounts, they were delicious cuts of meat!

We hope everyone who celebrated had a great time with their Dads on Father's Day.

Spirit Week!

What a big week we have had to end the term! From Mindful Monday, Staff vs Student Game, our Colour Run and Sports Colours Day, Mary MacKillop has once again blessed us with the perfect weather for each event.

The Talent Show was absolutely fantastic on Wednesday - we are so proud of every single child who had the courage to share their talents and passions with the whole SMCM community.

The community spirit was in full effect yesterday at our Colour Run. A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who came to shower everyone with colour! It was a tough gig, but somebody had to do it!

Four teachers were slimed - Natasha from Dairy, Giulia from Curious, Viv from Hope and of course Claire! There was so much slime Cate had to shovel it off the rocks ready for breaktime today!

Congratulations to Efthimi from Marram and Dion from Balam-balam who both won the set of 2 Medallion Club tickets for an AFL match of their choice for the 2027 regular home and away season. Efthimi and Dion were both in the draw as they raised over $200 each. Mila from Pilgrims was the lucky winner of a Razor Scooter for having raised over $100 on her profile. 

Amidst all the fun and excitement, the total amount raised was not discussed - we have raised more than $33,000 to go towards our paddock makeover! Thank you to everyone who got involved. 

We look forward to more whole school events to celebrate next term.
