The quickest way to save time or improve your marketing may be to use a First National service your office has overlooked.Â
Â
The updated Products and Services Guide  brings the network’s marketing tools and support into one place. Members can find options to automate property advertising, schedule social content, nurture their databases, create brand-compliant material and generate sales and rental appraisal leads.Â
Â
The guide covers Hyperlocal, Social Express, Canva templates, Utopia, monthly blogs and newsletters, the in-house design team, myFN  resources and First National’s national lead-generation activity. It also explains the complimentary Launch Pad campaign available to help new offices establish local brand awareness.
Â
Before purchasing another platform or asking staff to recreate marketing material from scratch, check whether a suitable option is already available through the network.Â

A compromised email during a property transaction can cost an agency far more than the money stolen.Â
Â
In a claims example supplied by Marsh, attackers stole $150,000 from a real estate agency. The total claim exceeded $250,000 after forensic investigation, legal advice, notification costs and business interruption were included. The agency had a cyber policy and activated its response process, but the transaction was still disrupted.Â
Â
Marsh’s claims trends sheet also points to misleading conduct complaints and employment disputes as areas principals should watch.Â
Â
Check how your team verifies payment instructions, particularly any change sent by email. Make sure staff know whom to contact if they suspect an account has been compromised. Then ask your insurance broker what response costs your current policy covers.

ChatGPT ads are now available through self-service Ads Manager in Australia and New Zealand. They appear separately from ChatGPT’s answers, and advertisers can measure clicks and conversions. Â
Â
A SMK article reports mixed early results across other industries. However, it gives us no evidence yet that ChatGPT ads generate seller or landlord business for real estate agencies.Â
Â
Any agency interested in testing them should set a limited budget and judge the result by qualified enquiries, appraisal appointments and new business, rather than clicks alone.Â
