Learning and Curriculum Primary - Stage 3

Public Speaking
On Monday 7 September, we proudly hosted the annual Inter-School Public Speaking Competition, welcoming students from Santa Sabina’s Gioia House for an inspiring morning of eloquence, insight, and courage.
Students captivated the audience with speeches on a diverse range of thought-provoking topics, including The Lost Art of Conversation, The Problem with Perfection, The Most Important Thing Money Cannot Buy and Is Boredom a Bad Thing?
Each speaker demonstrated exceptional poise and passion, making the adjudication process a challenging one. A special congratulations goes to Atticus H, Jaden C and Thomas R who advanced to the impromptu round — a true test of quick thinking and articulate expression. Well done to Jaden C who placed third overall.
We commend all participants for their hard work and bravery in stepping up to the podium. Events like these remind us of the importance of student voice and the incredible potential of young minds to influence, inspire, and lead.
Year 6 Open Classrooms
We look forward to welcoming parents and carers to our Year 6 Open Classrooms morning on Tuesday 15 September (Week 9A) from 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM. We look forward to sharing the wonderful learning that has taken place with our community. Please gather in the Powell Pavillion before being invited to your son’s classroom.
