We proudly celebrated the Grade 6 graduation of our remarkable group of 13 students, each one a shining example of resilience, curiosity, and heart. Five Remarkable Young People Take the Next Step

It is with immense pride and joy that Hamlyn Views School celebrates the graduation of our five Year 12 students for 2025: Tom, CJ, Hadi, Tristen, and Placide.

This graduation represents not just the culmination of their education, but the remarkable personal journeys each of these young people has undertaken during their time with us.

Throughout their years at Hamlyn Views School, Tom, CJ, Hadi, Tristen, and Placide have each demonstrated incredible determination, growth, and resilience in their own unique ways. They have embraced learning, developed new skills, grown in confidence and independence, and celebrated their individual strengths. Each student has faced their own challenges and achieved their own personal victories as part of our close-knit school community.

At Hamlyn Views, we've fostered a community where learning goes beyond reading, writing, and maths. It's about embracing differences, celebrating individual progress, and supporting one another. Each of our five graduates have shown remarkable growth, developing self-advocacy skills, building independence, strengthening their communication, and gaining confidence in their abilities. Their progress has been supported throughout their schooling by our team of educators, education support staff, allied health professionals, and wellbeing staff.

Tom, CJ, Hadi, Tristen, and Placide have each shown us what it means to persevere, to believe in oneself, and to embrace opportunities. Watching each student tackle challenges, celebrate successes, and grow into the individuals they are today has been truly inspiring. Their individual journeys, marked by personal achievements both big and small, have touched the hearts of everyone in our school community.

Each graduate has blossomed into a confident young adult, ready to take their next steps. Whether they pursue further education, enter the workforce through supported or open employment, or explore new pathways suited to their goals and abilities, they carry with them the lessons learnt, the friendships forged, and the self-belief they've developed.

To Tom, CJ, Hadi, Tristen, and Placide: Your uniqueness is your strength, and your potential is boundless. You have each grown in remarkable ways, and we celebrate the individuals you have become. The entire Hamlyn Views School community believes in you.

To the families and carers: Graduation is a special celebration for you as well. This achievement marks an important moment in your child's entire educational journey. We're sure that as you reflect on the time from when your child first began their schooling, whether with us from the early years or when they joined our Hamlyn Views community, you can see the incredible progress and many successes they have achieved along the way. Time has likely passed very quickly, yet each year has brought new growth, new skills, and new moments of pride. Your unwavering advocacy, patience, love, and partnership throughout all these years of education has been instrumental in your child's growth and success. You have navigated challenges, celebrated victories, attended countless meetings and appointments, and championed your child every step of the way. We hope you take time to reflect on how far your young person has come and feel immense pride in all they have accomplished. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education and for the partnership we have shared throughout their entire school journey.
