Trade Tour

The Trade tour is coming up soon. Year 11 students are given the chance to visit industry sites and learn what is expected of apprentices. They will be visiting Bruce Rock Engineering and Macmahon.

Surf Camp

The Surf Camp was held from May 9 to 11 at Margaret River. We left on Friday afternoon and arrived in Busselton for dinner and settled in at the Catholic Youth Camp.

The next morning, we hit the beach and met up with Simon our surf coach. Conditions were a bit rough, raining and large swell. This didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm, and everyone was giving it a go with varying levels of success. The following day conditions were perfect for learning to surf. By the end of this session everyone had managed to at least stand up.

It was a pleasure to go on Surf Camp with this group of students, and we had great feedback from the public on how they conducted themselves.

Without volunteers the camp couldn’t go ahead. Thank you to Rohan Trevenen and Kate Strong for their assistance over the weekend.
