Year 5/6 Cricket Victoria Clinic
Our Year 5 and 6 students had a fantastic time participating in a cricket clinic with Cricket Victoria. Students developed their cricket skills through a range of fun and engaging activities, with a particular focus on batting and bowling. They had the opportunity to practise their technique, improve their accuracy and build confidence while enjoying the challenge of playing cricket with their classmates.
A big thank you to Leigh from Cricket Victoria for running such an enjoyable and engaging clinic and helping our students develop their cricket skills.
A Fresh New Look for Our Gym Floor!
Over the school holidays, our gym floor received some much-needed attention! The floor was carefully sanded back before two fresh coats of lacquer were applied, giving it a fantastic new finish. The gym is now looking wonderfully shiny, with a fresh surface that provides great grip and is ready for all the action our PE lessons will bring.
Junior School Students Shine at Regional Athletics
Congratulations to our six Junior School students who represented King’s College at the Greater Western Region Athletics in Ballarat on Friday 9th October. After training hard and preparing for their events, the students achieved outstanding results and should be very proud of their efforts. A special congratulations to Rosie, who won the 10 Years Girls High Jump and finished second in the 200m sprint, an incredible achievement. Well done to Rosie, Chloe, Luke W, Theo, Wilton and Jemimah for their dedication, perseverance and for representing King’s College so well. We are very proud of you all.
