Student Pick-up

The school day concludes at 3:45 pm. Students are expected to be collected promptly at this time. After 3:45 pm, the school is not able to provide ongoing supervision through the office or school staff. Our administrative, wellbeing and nursing staff have essential end-of-day responsibilities and are not able to supervise students waiting for late collection.

For families who require care beyond 3:45 pm, TeamKids Outside School Hours Care is the appropriate and supported option, providing structured and supervised care after dismissal.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally arise, and we will always exercise discretion in rare and genuine emergencies. However, repeated or planned late collections place pressure on staff and are not sustainable.

We ask that all families ensure:

  • Students are collected by 3:45 pm, or
  • Appropriate enrolment is in place with TeamKids if later care is required.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep clear, consistent, and safe arrangements in place for all students and staff.

Two Minute Vehicle Drop Off Zones

Please remember that the drop off zones on Wilson Street and Male Street are for quick pick-ups and drop offs only. The time limit is two minutes. Your car should not be left unattended in the two-minute zones.

If you'd like to walk your child into school, please allow extra time, park on surrounding streets, note local parking restrictions, and do not block driveways. Bayside Council books cars left unattended for longer than two minutes.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should anyone double park in the drop off zones. This poses a safety risk for students.
