🎸 Battle of the Bands
The 2026 Battle of the Bands once again a huge success and made all the more special with our guest judge, Wilbur Wilde! It was a thrill to have Wilbur share his creative advice and industry experience.
Well done to NAVI, HSD and WunPTuJ for their fantastic performances, and congratulations to ROOM2 for being the 2026 Battle of the Bands winners! Who’s Rosie also performed but, as last year’s winners (as ABC), they were unable to compete.
Thank you to all the staff judges, parents and the LHS community for supporting this wonderful event.
🎤 Inter-school Battle of the Bands
As winners and runners-up, ROOM2 and WunPTuJ represented Lilydale High School at the inter-school Battle of the Bands on Thursday 18 June, competing against five other bands from schools across the region.
WunPTuJ received the award for Best Stage Presence, and ROOM2 won Best Overall Band. We are thrilled with these results and congratulate all students for their talent and dedication to music-making.
