🎭 Showtime is Almost Here! Diary of a Wimpy Kid Comes to Life

Term 2 has now wrapped up, and it’s getting very close to show week for Lilydale High School’s production ofDiary of a Wimpy Kid!

Over the past few months, the cast, crew, and production team have been working incredibly hard to bring Greg Heffley’s chaotic middle school adventures to life. From learning songs and choreography to developing characters and finalising costumes, everyone has shown outstanding effort in carefully building each and every scene.

A recent highlight was our costume rehearsal, where cast members arrived in their completed outfits. It was exciting to see everything come together on stage, giving us a sneak peek of the fun audiences can expect. This rehearsal also gave everyone the opportunity to perform in costume, helping the production truly come to life. A big thank you to our Costume Coordinator, Darcey, for creating the costume run sheet and scene mood boards.

As rehearsals continue, the show is coming together more each day.  We would like to thank the Production Team for their support, patience, and dedication in helping everything run smoothly. We would also like to acknowledge the cast for their commitment, enthusiasm, and teamwork throughout the process.

We are very excited to share the final production with audiences this August and hope to see you there!
