Notification of Student Absences:

We would like to remind all parents and carers of the importance of providing a reason for any student absence from school.

Accurate attendance records are a legal requirement and play an important role in supporting your child's education, wellbeing, and safety. If your child is absent from school, please ensure that you notify the school as soon as possible and provide a reason for the absence.

We also remind families of the importance of arriving at school on time each day.

Classrooms open at 8:50am. Students should be at school before the start of the school day, so they are ready to begin learning with their class. Arriving on time helps students settle into the day, participate in morning routines, and avoid missing important learning opportunities.

Please take the time to check the Sentral Parent Portal and provide an explanation for any unexplained absences recorded in Term 2. Absent explanations can be submitted via Sentral, email, or by phone (see details below).
