This week, we are proudly celebrating NAIDOC Week at our school. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the rich history, culture, achievements and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It encourages all Australians to learn more about and show respect for the world's oldest continuing cultures.
Throughout the week, students have been engaging in a variety of NAIDOC Week learning experiences across the school. These include activities in specialist classes, library sessions and classroom learning, where students have been exploring Indigenous cultures, traditions, stories and connections to Country.
