What a fantastic term we’ve had in Food Tech! Over the past few weeks, students have enjoyed making a variety of delicious recipes, including sprinkle crinkle cookies, white bean stew, and cheese and Vegemite scrolls.

It has been wonderful to see students approach new foods with curiosity and enthusiasm. Many students were willing to taste ingredients and dishes they were initially unsure about, demonstrating great confidence and open-mindedness. The cheese and Vegemite scrolls were a particular highlight—several students were convinced they wouldn’t enjoy them because of the Vegemite, but were pleasantly surprised when they discovered how tasty they were!

We look forward to more exciting cooking adventures next term, starting with some delicious pasta and cookies. Have a wonderful holiday break, and we look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for another great term.
