ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

Despite the freezing temperatures, our Athletics Carnival was a roaring success! We managed to beat the odds and wrap up the events just before the skies opened up. 

A massive thank you to our amazing organisers and all the wonderful volunteers, including our PT & F, who gave up their time to keep the day running smoothly and the BBQ's running hot . But most of all, congratulations to our St. Nick's kids—your incredible sportsmanship and excellent behaviour made a chilly day feel warm and bright. It was a freezing but truly fantastic day all around! We look forward to announcing our Age Champions at our Assembly tomorrow morning. 

DEBATING

Last Saturday, we were fortunate to have one of our Stage 3 Eisteddfod Debating teams make it through to the Finals. We debated against Calrossy. Rex, Emmett, Emilia and Louellen were the affirmative team, arguing that "Australia should ban all its zoos." Whilst they put up some very strong arguments, the negative team was awarded the trophy. 

Congratulations to Rex, Emmett, Emilia and Louellen for coming Runners Up in the Competition. 

EISTEDDFOD SUCCESS STORIES
