Meet the staff

Admin Staff: Paul Adigun, Raine Adams, Ashley Kamau

Hi All,

The PRC Administration team plays a key role in the smooth running of the College Office, supporting both the teaching and well-being teams in the discharge of their duties as well as striving to meet the needs of students and their families.

I am therefore humbled to be a part of PRC’s foundational team in general and the administrative one in particular. Part of my ongoing responsibilities include administration and general maintenance, careers and pathway co-ordination, liaison with external partners and covering lessons for absent teachers. I bring to my current roles an accumulated wealth of experience, spanning c.a. four decades across multiple continents. My academic credentials in Politics and social policies have enabled me to better appreciate education as one of the most contentious terrains of all sectors. And across all jurisdictions, I have developed a core awareness of the importance of sound education (both theory and praxis) in constructing and sustaining an egalitarian society.

The egalitarian principle, writ large, has guided all my interactions as a classroom practitioner ever since I was certified, both in character and in learning, as a teacher. And the same has sustained my passion and commitment, sometimes in challenging circumstances, to continue assisting young people as they navigate the challenges of self-development.

I feel the enormous weight of being a part of the unfolding story here at PRC. But I also relish the unique opportunities to not only make a difference in the lives of the young people in our care but also derive self-satisfaction from such undertakings.

It is indeed a win-win situation to admire.

My name is Raine Adams,

My role at Plenty River College is the School Assistant Administration Officer. After completing high school education at Diamond Valley Learning Centre (DVLC) I was able to obtain my Cert III in Allied Health. I was fortunate enough to gain valuable experience working in the field of Disability Support. This has positioned me to be well equipped in my new role here at PRC where I am able to use my previous skills to support students through my work. I have thoroughly enjoyed the growth and knowledge I have gained, and I look forward to seeing where this journey continues to take me.

Hi,

My name is Ashley and I am the Records Officer here at Plenty River College. Along with experience as a Disability Support Worker I have also had professional experience at my previous workplace, Diamond Valley Learning centre, as a Records Officer, until I embarked on this new journey, earlier this year.

I am passionate about my role and find immense joy in being able to support the staff and students through my work and look forward to another year at the school.

Thank you.
