Thornbury 3/4 ‘s have just returned from a brilliant 3-day camp at Arrabri Lodge in Warburton. Students were excited and nervous to set off and arrive at camp.

During their time students built their resilience and problem-solving skills while navigating a number of individual and team work challenges.

Some of the activities included;

  • Archery
  • Giant swing
  • Flying fox
  • Mini golf
  • Low ropes course
  • Sensory walk
  • Orienteering
  • Panning for gold
  • Looking for shoes

Camp provided a valuable opportunity for students to connect with nature, take on new responsibilities, and grow in confidence. We are incredibly proud of the way each student represented our school community.

A big thank you to all staff and volunteers who helped make this experience possible. We also appreciate the support from families in preparing students for this exciting adventure.

As we come to the end of a wonderful Term 1, we would like to thank our students and families for their continued support and enthusiasm. It has been a joy to see the growth, curiosity and learning that has taken place in our classrooms.

We wish everyone a safe and happy Easter break, filled with rest and time with loved ones, and we look forward to welcoming you all back in Term 2.
