Term 1 P&F Meeting

Thank you to everyone who attended the P&F Meeting on Monday, 23 February. The hybrid format continues to work well, enabling increased parent participation.

 

Principal’s Report Highlights

  • 2026 College Theme: 'For All, With All' (Ephesians 6:13), emphasising unity and inclusivity.

  • 2025 HSC Results: Outstanding achievements including 12 students with ATARs above 95, 34 above 90, and 66 above 80. Additionally, 57.2% of entries scored a Band 5 or 6, and 51 students were named Distinguished Achievers.

  • Strategic Planning: The Executive leadership is updating the College’s strategic plan, with further details expected later this year.

  • Staffing & Facilities: We welcomed several new teaching and wellbeing staff. Recent upgrades include new windows in A Building and refurbished learning spaces and amenities.

  • Operational Updates: Ongoing focus remains on high expectations and pastoral care. Note the new bell times and the move to a single Wednesday assembly.

  • 90-Year Anniversary: Preparations are underway for the College’s celebrations in 2027.

  • Leadership Leave: Mr Ronchetti will be on leave from 16 March to 27 April to attend the EREBB Congress. Ms Elizabeth Watson will serve as Acting Principal during this time.

 

P&F Updates

  • Cocktail Party: The recent event was a success with over 350 attendees and very positive feedback.

  • Open Day Volunteers: We are seeking volunteers for the upcoming Open Day on Saturday, 14 March, specifically to assist with the BBQ.

  • Club Reports: Various clubs shared updates regarding their activities and ongoing support for cocurricular programs.

St Pius X Open Day  - Saturday 14 March   - BBQ Helpers needed

We are looking for volunteers to help with the P&F BBQ for prospective parents during the St Pius X Open Day on Saturday, 14 March, at the Chatswood Campus.

Helping out is a great way to give back and also meet other parents. If you can spare an hour to assist with the BBQ, please indicate your availability on the roster linked below:

2026 P&F Executive Class Parent Coordinator - vacancy

The P&F Executive is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive parent to join the team as the 2026 P&F Class Parent Coordinator. This role serves as a vital bridge between the Class Parent Representatives from each year group and the P&F Executive.

Increase in funding to $2,000 for each Year Group in 2026

To strengthen our community and connections, the P&F has increased the annual funding provided to each Year Group for organising social and community-building events. The funding is now $2,000 per year group. Year group activities are coordinated through the volunteer Class Parent Representatives.
