Year 11 Biology GTAC Excursion

Students in Year 11 Biology attended the Gene Technology Access Centre (GTAC) where they worked with STEM coaches to use microscopy to investigate cells. They developed their own research questions then used light microscopes to investigate paramecium cells. They also used digital fluorescent microscopes to compare samples from three patients to healthy cells and diagnose disease.
