Leadership Assembly Celebration
On Monday 9th February, we held a very special whole-school Leadership Assembly at Mortlake College.
Our Year 12 students proudly and officially presented our 2026 Prep students to the school community, warmly welcoming them into our College family and marking the beginning of their school journey. It was a wonderful moment seeing our oldest students supporting and encouraging our newest.
We also recognised student leadership across the school, with the presentation of badges and certificates to our:
• School Leaders
• Sports Captains
• Bus Captains
It was a proud occasion for students, staff and families, celebrating responsibility, role modelling and the strong connections that make our P-12 community so special.
2026 House Swimming Sports – What a Day!
On Wednesday 18th February, our school community came together for a fantastic day at the 2026 House Swimming Sports — and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect!
Students showed incredible enthusiasm both in and out of the pool, giving their best in every race, cheer and novelty event. From competitive heats to plenty of laughs with friends, the atmosphere was filled with energy, encouragement and positivity all day, culminating in the ever-popular Year 12 vs Staff race.
It was wonderful to see students proudly wearing their House colours, supporting one another and celebrating achievements big and small. The spirit of participation, teamwork and resilience was on full display as students swam not only for their House, but for the pride of our whole school community.
A huge thank you to our staff, student leaders and supporters who helped make the day run so smoothly. Days like this remind us just how special our school community is.
