Meet our Leaders for 2026
Over the past couple of weeks, Year 6 students interested in applying for positions of Student Leadership were asked to complete and submit a written application addressing specific criteria. Students who applied for a position had the opportunity to present themselves and what they had to offer through our interview process by delivering a short presentation to their peers and select staff.
I must commend every single student who took the time to compose their application and present themselves to their peers... it takes courage to 'put yourself out there.'
Choosing our leaders is probably one of the hardest jobs we have each year as each child has a case for selection and disappointment for some is inevitable. Positions are appointed based on the skills and attributes candidates can bring to the position at this point in time. We applaud all students who applied and congratulate those who were selected, so let's meet them-
STUDENT LEADERS - Isla & Alessandra
Isla
Hello, my name is Isla Daglish and I'm proud to announce that I will be one of your Student Leaders for 2026! I love reading, playing tennis and am passionate about giving students a voice.
I am really honoured to have this opportunity to listen to others and help them let their voices be heard. I can't wait to make a positive impact in helping others feel safe, happy and supported when they come to school each day.
Alessandra
Hi, I'm Alessandra and I'm your School Leader for 2026. I value being kind, respectful, and safe throughout the school grounds. I understand that this leadership role is about making a difference, not about recognition.
As a School Leader, I will take the responsibility to uphold the values in this school. I really enjoy helping and supporting teachers and students at all times.
I love tennis, camping, and animals. If you see me in the school yard, don't be shy about coming over to say hello and have a chat.
SOCIAL JUSTICE LEADERS - Solange & Jameson
Solange
Hi, I am Solange Tang and I'm your Social Justice Leader for 2026. I am very grateful for this role and I am passionate about helping others feel safe, included, and supported within our school. I believe that kindness, fairness, and respect are important values, and that even small actions can make a big difference.
I look forward to supporting our school community, and am very excited to contribute and learn throughout the year.
Jameson
Hello, my name is Jameson,
I am proud to be one of the Year 6 Social Justice Leaders for 2026, and I am excited to serve our school community and help make a positive difference. Outside of school, I enjoy rock climbing, gaming, maths, science, PE, coding, and 3D designing. I have been at Corpus Christi for 6 years and have made many great memories here.
I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to the school and look forward to making 2026 a fantastic year for everyone.
SPORTS LEADERS - Ivy & Alexander
Ivy
Hello my name is Ivy. I am one of the new 2026 Sports Leaders. I have a great appreciation for all sports and I like to try all of them. I believe that it is important to encourage others to try their best. Last year I played netball in interschool sports where I discovered that I love the game, so I joined a club. I want to encourage others to try something new.
As a sports leader I will try my best to answer all of your sport related questions. I also have lots of ideas to help the school community grow and participate in sports and physical activities.
I am so excited to help Mr Hyde and Mr Palanca encourage and promote sport!
Alexander
Hello my name is Alex and I am one of the new sports leaders for 2026. My passion is basketball but I love and enjoy all other sports too. I love encouraging other people and pushing them to get the best sporty side of them!. I love to get students involved with what we're doing in PE.
I have played basketball for more than I can remember and I play representative basketball for Westgate Imperials and have played rep for two years. I really look forward to making the school an even better place than it already is and encouraging my peers to keep enjoying Sports.
