Dear parents and carers,
Swimming Week was a big success, and it was wonderful to see how much our students gained from the experience.
Throughout the week, students worked on a range of swimming and water safety skills, including building confidence in the water, floating, kicking, breath control and practicing basic strokes. What really stood out was how much the students enjoyed themselves. There were lots of smiles, proud moments and positive attitudes as they gave everything a go. It was great to see their confidence grow and to watch them celebrate their achievements along the way.
I would also like to remind parents and carers that Student Support Group (SSG) meetings will be happening from 11 May to 28 May. These meetings are a great chance to talk about your child’s progress and work together with the school to support them to achieve their goals. If you haven’t booked an SSG meeting yet, we strongly encourage you to contact your child’s class teacher to organise a time.
Thank you for your continued support.
Kind Regards,
Stefania Mantinioti

Room 16 Learning Adventures!
We have been busy in Maths learning how to collect data, display and analyse the results during discussions. During Literacy we are developing our reading and spelling skills with phonics, recall and sequencing.

Activities have included: daily yoga and meditation sessions to support our mindfulness; weekly Living skills sessions, and practising karate moves lead by Putin! Visiting the Werribee Zoo has been a definite highlight, seeing the giraffes and lions up close! We have loved our music sessions, especially when we visit the music room to try out the instruments and of course, going swimming in Week 3!
