Sport 

The month of May has been busy with lots of wonderful sporting achievements from our students!

We started the month with our HCPSSA Athletics Sports at Dudley Cornell Park on the 5th of May. All qualifying students tried their best in their events. Congratulations to those who will be going on to the Little Desert Athletics in Stawell in September. 

The Grade 5 and 6 girls had a ball participating in the HCPSSA AFLW competition at the Wimmera Lutheran College on the 15th of May. It was great to see the effort put in by all participants in both the Division 1 and 2 teams!

A big congratulations to Eden M and Ruby S for qualifying for the Greater Western Region Cross Country in Warnambool on the 26th of May. Eden placed 10th in her race and is now heading off to the State Championships in the Yarra Valley in July. We will all be cheering you on, Eden!

The Grade 5 and 6 students have also begun their annual Winter Sports competition. Over 4 fun Friday afternoons, the students compete against other Horsham schools in their chosen sport (basketball, netball, football or volleyball). If there are any parents who would like to come along to help out with coaching or umpiring, please let Mrs Horsfall know!
